Our founder, Dr. Roland Trogan, received a Doctorate in music composition from the University of Michigan.
He studied composition with Roger Sessions at Princeton and with Ross Lee Finney at the University of Michigan.
Dr. Trogan's Music School teaches all ages, from 3 to senior citizens. Dr. Trogan is directly involved in teaching and in the preparation of our materials.
In addition to being the president of Dr. Trogan’s Music School, also known as Trogans Music Corp., he is also president of Patrice Editions, L.L.C., a contemporary classical music recording and publishing company. He is also a published author of books and musical materials in many areas of music esthetics.
We are fortunate to have a staff of distinguished and talented musicians who look forward to working with students of all ages. We provide our students with an informal, effective learning environment.
